A Year in Review – 2013

We made a quick trip to NYC to see the boys open for Everyone Orchestra…

During the spring and summer, we lived for Friday Cheers where we saw Shovels & Rope, Lake Street Dive, Kishi Bashi, Lettuce and Infamous Stringdusters (among others)…

We survived the drive down to Folly Beach to celebrate Memorial Day…

I’d have to say that the true highlight was our trip to Italy.

We spent the first portion of the trip in a converted chapel in Pistoia…

I was determined to find riso gelato. I did. I wouldn’t recommend it…

We took a day trip to Bologna…

and climbed the 498 (tiny and claustrophobic) steps of the Asinelli Tower.

We visited Monterosso Beach in Cinque Terre. Il Gigante (the carving in this rock) was just amazing…
